Actions Taken:
1. P. Linehan presented a revised proposal by STV, Inc. to 1) stabilize the Community Center ($117,350), 2) renovate for immediate occupancy ($400,646) and 3) completion of renovation for program needs ($2,381,702). M. Bennett of STV, Inc. continued with an amplification of the proposal.
Votes Taken:
1. MOVED, by W. Heitin and duly seconded, that the Capital Outlay Committee support Article 7 of the Special Town Meeting regarding Rattlesnake Hill. VOTED in the affirmative, 6-0-1.
2. MOVED, by D. Hearne and duly seconded that the Capital Outlay Committee support Article 3 of the Special Town Meeting regarding the Senior Center. VOTED in the affirmative, unanimously.
3. MOVED, by M. Blaustein and duly seconded, that the Capital Outlay Committee make an interim funding commitment to suit the long-term goal of complete renovation of the Community Center. VOTED in the affirmative, 4-2-1.
